Chapter I
One day a boy named Henry was lurking in the woods and found a big tree that was perfect for a shelter. It was getting colder and darker. Henry was tired and cold. He slept under the tree all night and slept very peaceful.

One day a boy named Henry was lurking in the woods and found a big tree that was perfect for a shelter. It was getting colder and darker. Henry was tired and cold. He slept under the tree all night and slept very peaceful.
The next morning Henry was starving, so he went into the woods to find something to eat. Henry came back with blueberries and strawberries and a big, fat, juicy turkey. Henry made a strawberry and blueberry turkey salad. He ate his breakfast and he started to get cold.
Henry looked at the turkey feathers and the string lying on the ground. He picked up the string and the feathers, and he sewed them together to make a blanket.
Chapter II
Henry went back into the woods, and he found a tarp and some big sticks. He came back and made a tent. Henry went to sleep and had a bad dream about his mom and dad kicking him out of the house. He woke up the next morning crying. Wiping his eyes, he got out the leftovers from the blueberry and strawberry salad with the turkey in it. Then he lay on his turkey feather pillow blanket. He thought about what he had done. Then it hit him. He knew. He hadn’t obeyed them. He felt so bad about himself that he went to a tree and kicked it.
It was getting dark and cold, so he went into his tarp tent and snuggled into his turkey feather blanket and his turkey feather pillow. He went to sleep and had another dream about all the good things he and his mom and dad did together … like he and his mom baking muffins and the dough splattered everywhere, and he and his dad watching a funny show that made him and his dad laugh very hard.
